How it works on the day
- Bring the card. Photo identification for the patient, and the scheme card itself. Without the card the counter cannot verify eligibility.
- Verification before admission. The counter checks the card before the patient is admitted, not at discharge, so the family knows where it stands before the stay begins.
- What the scheme covers. Coverage is set by the scheme, not by the hospital. Ask at the counter what is covered for your procedure.
- Anything outside the scheme. Charged at the hospital's published rate, which is the same for every patient in that category.
Check before you travel
If you are not sure whether your card covers what you need, call 0261 2510050 before making the journey. It is a short call and it can save a wasted trip.
Official scheme details are published by the schemes themselves rather than by the hospital, and eligibility is decided by them.
Named insurer and TPA list
The brochure says the hospital is empanelled with “all mediclaim companies”, which a patient cannot check and a search engine cannot index.
What this page needs from the hospital
- The actual list of empanelled insurers
- The actual list of TPAs
- Which corporate tie-ups are current
- Any scheme the hospital has joined or left since 2019
Until that arrives this page stays deliberately short rather than carrying content nobody can stand behind. If you need any of it now, call 0261 2510050 and ask.
