Bone and Joint covers both trauma arriving through emergency and planned orthopaedic work including joint replacement. The physiotherapy department is on the same campus, so rehabilitation after an operation does not mean travelling somewhere else twice a week.

What happens when you arrive
- Start at the general OPD. Between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm, pay the consultation charge and you will be seen. That charge includes the medicine prescribed for that day. In an emergency, go straight to accident and emergency instead.
- Bring what you have. Photo identification, any scheme or insurance card, and earlier prescriptions, scans or reports.
- Scheme check before admission. If you hold a Mukhyamantri Amrutum or Ayushman Bharat card, the counter verifies it before admission rather than at discharge.
- Rates are published. The same rate applies to every patient in a category. There is no negotiation at the counter and nothing to be gained by asking.
